Very clever, but way too much trouble to actually do.

Yeah I saw this on IRC this morning.

I guess IRC can be good for something sometimes.

Well, I modified it a bit, and got it working.
Thing is, the sound quality is absolutely terrible. It does make me tempted to try to put together a VoIP Asterisk server that could do things like play music, read email, etc. Might be fun.

Sorry Mastrap. I know you keep calling wanting a date, and I keep telling you I don't have time.

I lied. I just don't want to go out with you.

So stop calling me.

I am sure SWG would only be too happy to help you out.

THAT is the way scientists think and behave. Some of our greatest discoveries have come about this way.

Think, "I wonder what would happen if I..."

"What if" RULES!

"what if" almost killed me once... actually, it was last week.

My model rocket ignition thing-a-ma-bob with the 20 foot cord for safe firing distance needed 3 "AA" batteries, but I only had 1 (and I didn't want to take batteries out of my TV remote). So I thought to my self, "what if I take this 1 battery and stick the leads to the rocket igniter on it?"... well I'm sure you've guessed what happened next. It went off in my hand... exciting to say the least. At the time, it wasn't attached to a rocket, so it just spun around in the air a few feet from my head. Good times.

Sorry for going off topic... back to the applescript skype thingy

Nobody said the scientific disciplines were without risks. Imagine the person who first looked at a cow's udder and thought, "what if I...?"
