Hi, I'm currently running Snow Leopard and for various reasons, I think my installation is hosed (everything is slow as molasses, every time I return from work, it takes a few minute before the system is usable, I'll often have to force quit Safari, lot of system hangs, etc), so I'd like to start fresh. I already wiped my drive in the past but I realized Time Machine will restore everything, so it's never a fresh install. Is there a way to install Lion and then only restore my files, without any preferences, settings or applications? What do you suggest to start as fresh as possible, short of manually transferring file by file?
