Hey Guys,
I have a new MacBook and it won't accept CD's. I tried popping in a music CD and it asked for a region, I entered 1. Suggestions?

What album? What band? Your computer probably doesn't agree with your musical taste.

My macbook is the same way. It has always been hypersensitive about CDs. I've never had a problem with DVDs with it, but about 1 out of every 4 commercial CDs will be rejected. Examples ... WindowsXP ... rejected. Halo (universal) ... rejected. Flaming Lips "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" ... accepted .
If I copy the CDs in question and burn to a CD-R, it works fine. Not a very good workaround, though. It just hasn't bugged me enough to do anything about it.
