Are you serious? MS makes the second coolest keyboard in the world... the coolest, of course, is my Logitech Cordless MX

I'm a pretty big fan of their keyboards. Rugged and good looking. Their mice are decent if you have tiny girl hands, but if you have man hands... you'd might as well just go straight to Logitech.

i like the logitech; ms not so much. i find the best keys of all on the powerbook itself!

I can understand. I originally bought the keyboard for my PC, but then I realized how nicer it is to type on than the Apple Keyboard. I've been using the natural style for almost 10 years and find I am faster on it than the typical keyboard layout. Aside from the MS keyboard lacking an Apple logo, it is the best keyboard I have ever used. The included software for Macs is well done.

I found that the MS software for the Mac is far superior than the software that came with my Logitech MX700 and elite keyboard, which were replaced by the MS Optical Desktop Pro. Also, what is up with the lag when adjusting the volume with the Logitech keyboard? My MS keyboard doesn't do that.

Yes, Microsoft's software is better than Logitech's because you can specify actions on a per-application basis. But I can live with the Logitech software.

What do you meant there is lag when adjusting volume? It seems fine to me. All I've noticed is that if you spin the wheel super fast, it doesn't adjust the volume any faster than if you spin it at a medium rate.

there IS lag when adjusting volume.. apparently this is fixed with more ram but I doubt it..

About the MS keyboard- yeah I dig the ergo style myself. I know addesso makes a really expensive split keyboard like that (and it's in clear/black or grey/black) -- but they're totally subjective.. I kinda want one but I heard they're not too great.

I've noticed lag as well, but that was with older, slower machines I've used. My PowerBook G3/233 did it and my iBook did it, but my PowerMac doesn't do it and my eMac never did either. Funny, the laptops were both G3s and the desktops were both G4s. My desktop adjusts its volume plenty fast all the time, and I rarely experience any slowdowns at all with it.

I haven't used an Adesso keyboard, but I did use an MS Natural Keyboard for a couple months. It was pretty good, but since it used PS/2 only and not USB, I had to kind of jury-rig everything into place. Got an adapter to use the keyboard on a USB port, and used uControl to swap the Alt and Windows keys (which translate to Option and Command, respectively). Volume adjustment worked, F12 to eject the CD worked, but none of the hotkeys worked and no software drivers were available. I am fine with the ergonomic form factor but the standard one is also just fine. The feel of the keys on this Logitech is amazing, better than either the MS or the Apple. That makes up for the lack of an ergonomic design.

Anyway, I'll get back on topic and post a picture of my setup in the PowerMac Pictures thread.

i had lag on a 1ghz TiBook with 1GB of ram.

When you spin the wheel fast the sound dialog on your screen kinda lags behind.

That is the Samsung 173T. It comes in black and silver. It's super bright compared to PB LCD, i had turn down the contrast and brightness by half. And i haven't calibrated it yet, it's too blue.

My essential stuff on the road, 12" 1GHz rev. B, 768MB/60GB/AE/Combo, 160GB external firewiredisk, portable Porta Pro headphones, MS Intellimouse BT, also brought my pentax optio s4 camera (used for this pic, no flash, so a little bit dull in colors).

Hey Azt33, Cool Man. The SJ-MR250 is truly sweeter then a bumble bee's booty! I picked it up passing through Tokyo on a trip up to Northern Japan. My only complaint is the amp for the mic produces a hiss at higher volumes. On the positive side however, it's so sweet for its size and I even left it out in the rain all night long and it works like new! (phew) Also, I haven't got a clue how to work the NET MD on Apples. Do you have any ideas? Peace : )

Finally....Here is mine.
It is in a SMALL basment suite with my Fiancee that we have to share with her Elderly Grandfather (Which is the only reason we are staying)
