When I click to open iTunes i get the message: "The iTunes application could not be opened. There is not enough memory available."

Now at first I just found this funny, mainly because I haven't seen a message like that in over 4 years back when I had OS 9.
Also I have a 2.16 GHz 17'' MacBook Pro with 1GB of memory... So I don't understand how my computer doesn't have enough memory to open iTunes, isn't 1GB plenty?

Definitely looks like something is busted there. Are there any messages output to the Console when you try to open iTunes?

The solution to this problem is to reinstall iTunes from scratch. Before you reinstall, remove all iTunes*.pkg files in /Library/Receipts. This ensures that the installer will replace all existing iTunes components.
