Could be something with the admins fooling around with code, but it's been like this since at least 8:00AM EDT.

Also: the new image resize thingy is janky. I'm not trying to be a whiner or anything, but the way it was before vBulletin was upgraded was definitely slicker.

Yeah, I don't see how things can mess up on their own and without reason. The admins are also on different timezones, so morning for us could be afternoon, or even evening, for them. It's a possibility that they were messing with the code.

Probably missing some CSS rules.

I still don't understand why the admins monkey around with the live, production board rather than make a copy of the vBulletin source and MySQL data.

Agreed. Wikipedia has the sandbox dealy to test code - it shouldn't be that hard to do a second build that uses a test database and crap. I know this forum isn't as big as Wikipedia, but it's still got a pretty large intarnet presence.

Subversion is a really handy tool for putting these changes under revision control from a test environment, and putting them into production when they are ready to go (while being able to roll back if necessary).

Three threads? I only see this one.

In any case, Firefox on Windows XP does not like that quick reply box at all, I've had to force-quit Firefox a few times today when it got needy and grabbed all the system resources, and they were all when I was typing in the quick-reply box....

Edit: The Edit box is FUBAR'd, too....
