How do i add a sound .mov so that it plays along with a .mov vidoe file? I've tried adding the respective files to each other but it always seems to just add the other .mov at the end of the other .mov file....

To add a track instead of pasting it at the end of the orginal track you need to copy the track to the clip board and then use Add from the Edit menu, not Paste. If you want it to start to play at the same time as the original track then make sure the play head is at the start of the first track when you use Add.

Thanks... I actually used add scaled... I hope that's just as good. Seemed to work just fine.

The convetional wisdom is that it is best to not use Add Scaled if the track on the clip board is an audio file. The better way to do it is to copy the video track to the clip board and then go to the audio track and use Add Scaled. It is apparently easier for QT to scale video than audio.
