I've decided to upgrade the 32 MB Radeon of my G4 dual 500 with an ATI 8500. It should allow me to play a few games running just a little too slow with the 32 MB (Dungeon Siege, Jedi academy, MOH) and play warcraft 3 better (I'm playing with almost all lower settings)

I've put a request in the marketplace for a 8500 and someone offered me a flashed 8500 LE. Is it as good as the original 8500? Sould I buy it?

If someone know a better cheap card for my system fell free to make advices.

Thanks!

I was running a flashed LE in my PMG4/466 for almost a year and I had no problems with it. The nature of the flashing game is that it's riskier than using an actual Mac Radeon, however. So it's definitely a case of 'your mileage may vary'. I hope it's being offered for real cheap.
