He hasn’t, but you should be well familiar with my rampant imagination by now.

Well I just dropped 80 bucks on Fusion and I love it already.
Currently typing this in Safari, while IE7 plays Boondock Saints from Netflix on my second monitor.
Best 80 bucks I've spent in a while
RAM is almost all used up though, If I was running PS and a couple other programs she'd be maxed right now.
Next couple of paychecks come in, then it's 4 GB time!

I'm going to jump on this thread instead of posting a whole new other thread about getting a Mac. It's main use will be to learn Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator.
Just ordered my bran new macmini 1.83Ghz...woohoo! I'm so happy to be using Apple hardware again. Previously had iMac G5(don't miss the fan noise), white Macbook and now a Macmini. Which will get upgraded and eventually converted into the centerpiece of my entertainment hub. Tivo on steroids!
Oh Apple, I've missed you sooo much.

One of my family members at the time was in dire need.... so I sold it.
Stupid love for family and what it forces you to do sometimes.

Wow, I'd rather donate a kidney than give away a Mac
Even giving away my old PowerMac to my dad recently was tough, I can't imagine parting with an Intel Mac!

Ya selfish prick.
For me it must of been the Catholic upbringing with its capacity to inflict soul crushing guilt that probably did it...... stupid Jesus.

Ignore this. Turns out that I have a Mac mini 1.83GHz Core Duo, without the "2". Big difference, and one that restricts my Mac to 2GB max. I apologize for besmirching the reputation of Kingston's ValueRAM.

****Update****
Well seeing how RAM tech moves so damn fast these days and spurred on by a problem my friend is having* I decided to wander over to Crucial.com to see what the 4GB upgrade for my iMac would run me...which is apparently only $75 shipped.
Sold!
*He has an old-ish P4 Dell (2.4ghz, I think) running a paltry 512MB of PC 800 RAM. Now that its' RAM is obsolete a 512 chip is over 80 bucks! (from Pricewatch.com) Not wanting to wait until my iMac's RAM also becomes a commodity I decided to max it out now even though I rarely allocate over 1.5 gigs, unless I'm running Fusion, of course.
In other news I am still procrastinating on bringing my baby in for repair due to its restarting problem, which hasn't gotten much worse, but hasn't gotten better either. Knowing me, I'll wait until 12 hours before the warranty runs out.
