How to Sync a Windows 7 Desktop & Laptop ?

A relative is asking me how he can sync his Desktop and Laptop running Windows 7. He will need to keep certain documents synced between the 2 machines, so the file is exactly the same on both. Anyone know how to do this?

If he just needs to sync documents, then I highly recommend Dropbox.

Dropbox looks like a good solution for files, thanks. I think he also wants to use and sync the Windows Address/Contacts book. Anyway to do that?
