Looking around the web, I couldn't find a single screen capture of the Pizza Planet truck in the Incredibles, though many sites say it's "in the freeway scene towards the end of the movie."

I went frame by frame through the scene with the family in the RV and didn't see it.

I've also heard that Brad Bird didn't want to put it in there because it wouldn't fit and he's a bit of a controlling personality. (That's a good thing in his job.) But they did end up with Ratzenberger as the Underminer, so that tradition was carried on. As was A113.

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, there are three things that are in all Pixar films to date. A reference to A113 (a classroom back at Bird and John Lasseter's college), John Ratzenberger (Ham in the Toy Story movies, flea in A Bug's Life, the Abominable Snowman in Monsters, Inc, etc.) and the Pizza Planet truck from the original Toy Story.

It's even (briefly) in Finding Nemo, though why they were delivering a Pizza in Sydney, Australia is another matter entirely.

But I still can't find it in the Incredibles. So if anyone has anything more specific than "in the freeway scene at the end of the movie" please spill the beans!

I guess nobody knows.

So much for MacNN being an endless source of useless knowledge.

I've looked at the freeway scene (when they do the impossible transition from flying to landing in the van), and I can't find it anywhere...

They are all referenced in "Cars" as well.

Yeah, the PP Truck is in it, but I didn't see it the first time I saw Cars. I'll look better next time.

I did, however, see the power line with the birds from "For the Birds" in the "Life is a Highway" scene.

Not to mention that the sponsor of the race Dinoco was the gas station in Toy Story.

Yeah, but when they toss it, it spins the opposite way that it spins up here north of the equator.

I just meant it would be odd for that truck to be shipped to Australia in order to deliver a pizza.

Why couldn't Pizza Planet be an international chain?

I just looked my self. And I can't find it anywhere…

How silly, NO info on the internet besides the sentence on Wikipedia. I almost think thats false and just had been left as is since the movie came out…

Of course it could be. But that truck wouldn't deliver all pizzas, would it?

They actually have *trucks* in Australia, too.

Right, I realize that. But that truck has been established as being in some unspecified place assumed to be in California ("Tri-County Area") so it's odd to see it in Australia.

But I can suspend disbelief.

And every pizza place in existence is forbidden to have more than one identical delivery vehicle.

Oh geez... it's not like it's a brand new truck with no dents and such. It's obviously not part of a "fleet" of crappy Toyota (sorry, Gyoza) trucks...

Enough about what it was doing in Australia. Where is it in the Incredibles??
