Replacement Battery Has Arrived

Yep, just as I expected, a mere week after a long trip when I really could have used it, I got my replacement battery from Apple today.
My old battery had been through hundreds of load cycles and was down to a maximum charge of 67%, and the new one is much better!
So now, the question is, do I bother sending the old one back? I could use an extra...

Well, since I was waiting for someone else to post the fact that they got their new battery, I thought some people waiting might find this info useful.

Na, better to score the extra battery and save $100.
Problem is it was a safety recall so if your house burns down, melts the computer and kills everyone in the house neither Apple or your insurance will care as they can see you were aware of the recall, took place in it and still kept and used the recalled product.
It is a $100 gamble so either you can win small or lose big.

Well, it hasn't burned down the house in 18 months, so I'll take my chances.
