I sold my Wii in the spring because I wanted a console that would actually let me buy lots of extra tracks for Rock Band. By the time I got my PS3 in August, though, there was news of Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: World Tour on the way, so I decided to hold off on buying a roomful of plastic instruments.

I figured they'd be hardware incompatible and I'd just buy one game. Now it turns out that RB2 and GH:WT will be able use each other's instruments on PS3. So I'll probably end up buying both games, but I'm not sure which one I'll buy with the full instrument bundle.

Looks like the GH:WT hardware has a few advantages over RB2 (5 drum pads, extra touch-sensitive strip on the guitar), but I'm wondering if anyone's heard anything else that has them leaning one way or the other.
