I don't know about you guys, but I'm sure excited about this game. Especially that it was announced recently and will be released still this year. And that its hitting the PC simultaneously, as far as I can tell.

I guess we'll start off with a bunch of screenshots...

From interviews and other things I've read, they seem to have addressed every problem with the first game, including things like...

The main character can swim now.
Many more weapons.
Collecting flags actually do something now.

What's everyone else feeling about it?

Can't wait! I loved the first one, even with its flaws. I'm happy that they also addressed the repetitive nature of the first one.

And its pretty sweet that you get to play with some of DaVinci's gadgets.

My question is, in the shots I've seen of the main character, he still has his ring fingers. I thought that those assassins lopped off the ring fingers so they can better use that hidden blade? Or am I missing something? (highly possible)

What maroma said -- loved it despite the flaws. Can't wait for this one.

I hope it addresses the fact that assassinating people was ridiculously easy. You could just throw a guard to the ground and stab him in the face instead of swordfighting — every time. It's kind of silly when you have to intentionally hold back to give the game a fighting chance.

Still thought it was fun and can't wait for the new one, though. That was just my big gripe with the first one.

Meh. I bought the first one but got so bored I never came close to finishing it. I liked a lot of things about it but it was so ridiculously repetitive that I just couldn't bear to keep playing it. If they can mix up the gameplay on the second installment, I can see it being worth a try but I'll definitely be waiting to get lots of reviews in before considering picking it up.

Definitely liked the first game... can't wait for #2. I see there are more pics now, than just his new outfit.
