Crikey, that was a short engagement, wasn’t it? Or am I just aging faster than I thought?

Your name is Rachel??

I'd never have guessed. Grats and condolences.

My wedding was/is number 1 on the best days of my life list. Have fun Laminar/Mikael.

Don't get too drunk. Otherwise removing the wedding dress becomes too complicated.

Congratulations!

I like how the "and" is a different color. Almost like, it's not just Rachel's wedding, yep, and Mikael will be there too! Bonus!

The cake reception could use more emphasis, though. Are we all invited to your cake reception?

Late April to September. No sense in dragging it out.

THIS IS NOT THE INVITATION CRITIQUE THREAD.

Also, I deleted the address from the invitation. In lieu of gifts, please spay or neuter something.

After receiving at least 4 different sets of wine glasses at various showers, there was talk of replicating that tradition.

May you have a happy and joyous married life. Congratulations young man.

I heard a statistic years ago that apply to my marriage every day. Couples who kiss hello and goodbye every time they go to work or come home are statistically much, much more likely to stay together. It's a little thing, but I think it is important.

Also, never go to sleep mad at each other.

I can agree with this…

Also, never go to sleep mad at each other.
…this however, is BS.

Either way, good luck Laminar.

Felicitations! I did the same on the 11th July this year - I can report that it was mostly painless (so far)!

Just be sure to say 'I do' in the right place...

Currently at Dallas/Ft. Worth accessing the internet via a Netbook running OS X tethered to a Blackberry.

Flight was delayed for a half hour, but we're still hoping to be drinking on the beaches of Cancun by 4.

Hahahaha.

At the resort. Five star all inclusive in the only way to go. Room service is bringing us pizza, pasta, salads, and wine soon. Wife is snaking on included minibar items outside our door in front of the pool. I'm not allowed to get online this week. I suppose I'll have to find other, way less fun things to do. Putting music on the iPod now.

Conversely, I was attending a funeral at almost the same time (well, same time o’clock, different time zone).

Now we just need two more weddings, and we’ve got ourself a blockbuster.

Nooooo, no, no...

Misinterpretation. That week is nice because no job, no mandatory social interaction, and just the two of you adds up to a fantastic week. I think Lammy is going to love all 60 years of marriage.
