I guess Chase has an odd opinion of 24/7 account access. All I really want to do is check to see the balance on my card and how much credit I have available. So it frustrates to me when I see this http://www.flickr.com/photos/10189127@N08/5920891428/
I also tried from my iPhone with the Chase app and it says the same thing.

yup, happens all the time. you can setup daily e-mails of your balance. (alert emails I think they call them now)

I dislike Chase and Citi issued cards. There's always stuff that's somehow less good than it could or should be.

I use my Amex primarily (Starwoods) but I use my Chase for gas purchases, cause I get 5% back on those from time to time.
