My 3 Macs at home connect to the internet through 2 routers. The first one is a Linksys that connects to my DSL modem and serves an open Wi-fi network with 192.168.1.x addressing. Then I have a Time Capsule plugged into that and serving a password-protected network, with 10.0.1.x. This way folks on the open Wi-fi network can't see my shared printers, iTunes libraries, etc.
Since all the Macs are running Leopard, I'd like to figure out how to configure both routers so that I can use Back To My Mac to easily see my iMac's HD and share its screen while out and about with my MacBook. It seems like it should be fairly straightforward: turn on UPnP on the LinkSys and turn on DMZ at the Time Capsule's IP address, then turn on NAT on the Time Capsule. But that doesn't seem to have worked. Does anyone else have experience with BTMM through 2 routers? Thanks.
