I had a playlist that contained all the episodes of a particular TV show (I have multiple seasons). In the past, I could just navigate to the playlist and click the play button to begin playing all the episodes in the playlist one after the other.

But after the recent iPod update, I can't. It won't play them at all. You have to navigate to a specific episode and press play. Is anyone else experiencing this weirdness?

They show up in the playlist but won't play? What happens when you select them?

In previous versions, I could just select the playlist and click play which would play the entire playlist of TV shows. But instead, it does nothing. I have to choose the playlist, select a TV show, and then click play for it to work.

There's no way to play an entire playlist of video. I don't know if this is just an issue with videos tagged as TV SHOW or affects all video.

are these playlists in your library or on your iPod?

if iPod: you may need to turn the manually manage music and videos option on under ipod summary. Hit the apply button also.

I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand. Why would I want to manually manage my iPod when I currently have my iPod and iTunes setup to be in sync. How does this fix the problem?

The problem is that prior to version 1.2 of the iPod firmware, you could go under "Video Playlists", use the click wheel to scroll to a particular playlist, click the play button, and it would play all the videos back to back in that playlist. Now in version 1.2, it won't work. Click the play button on a video playlist and nothing plays. I can only play videos one by one.

Has anyone ever created a playlist of videos in iTunes, synced it to your iPod, and then watched the entire playlist of videos?

Finally fixed it. I had to completely restore the iPod (erasing all media) and then sync it back up with my library. After this was done, everything was back to normal and I could play entire playlists of videos back to back.

Nope. It's messed up again. It was working before, but for some reason it isn't working now. I haven't resynced it or anything.

No doesn't work. I just realized that this might not be just a problem with the iPod firmware. Apparently in iTunes, I am having the same issues with playlists of just videos and playing them back to back.

What you want to do is get info on the video or videos and select options. Then uncheck the box marked "Skip when shuffling"

I hope this helps
