I am having problems with my Itunes library. I am trying to copy them to a Flash Drive but some of them won't work. They have the lock on them. How can I unlock my iTunes files? Is there away to convert my MP4's to MP3's?

Thanks

The lock is because they have been purchased on the iTunes Store and have DRM. You can't unlock them legally.

OK, I figure if I pay for them then why can't I use them. Does anyone know a way to unlock this anyway?

Google 'Hymn' for a tool to help you exercise your fair use rights.

Will Hymn work on an iMac? Do you have a download link?

You can always burn them to a cd, then reimport them. They will not be DRM encumbered, but you will loose some quality (most likely not noticeably)

Every download link to hymn I get is a dead end. Will it work on my iMac?

Just go the CD route. It is the easiest, most fool-proof way to strip DRM and exercise your fair use rights.

OK i burned the CD and loaded the songs back on my computer. The locks are gone but I am having a problem copying my songs on my flash drive so that the will play in my car. Does anyone know why this would be? Some songs work and others don't. Do I need a certain kind of flash drive? My Head Unit in my car is at this link. Does the music need toe in a certain format?
