I have a TiBook 1Ghz with 1GB of RAM.
If I were to get a 15" Al book, as best I can tell from the Apple Specs page and my system profiler, it seems like I could take 1 512MB chip out of my TiBook for use in the Al book. (The user of the Tibook won't need that much RAM anyways.)
Is there any problem with this, as best as anyone knows?
THanks,
JMelrose

DDR memory is faster, but uses different signaling as well. The SO-DIMMs are also keyed differently, so they won't even fit in the PC133 slots (or they SHOULDN'T fit in the PC133 slots.)
