I put some documents into my notes folder onto my iPod, and when I went into the notes folder on my iPod, i clicked on the document, and all i got was this gobbledegook. Is this normal, so you can't view your documents on your iPod, only transfer them like a flash-disk? Feedback please!
Apparently, I'm a sig violator. I feel honored. Oops.

You transferred them to your notes. To read them on the iPod, they would need to be converted to plain text. To simply use the iPod as an external, just copy the folder you want to move to and from the iPod.
