I have saved a .term file for a telnet session that I need to use every day, but whenever I open a terminal window (shell) it defaults to the .term file for some reason. I made sure that it does not have it set as opening with a new shell or when a new shell is started. I cant figure this out and it is really irritating. I know that it is going to be something simple stupid that I am overlooking but any help would be appreiciated. Oh I also deleted the file to see if that would solve the problem but it has not. thanks in advance.

Probably the pref file (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist)
has somehow adopted the "ExecutionString" key. You could remove the
pref file... or just edit out the text. (The file is 'binary' if you have Tiger).
