I'll be in class taking a midterm, so I cant skip to watch it. I plan on avoiding all tech related sites and people tomorrow though. I want to watch the presentation later and be totally surprised.

I thought it was streamed from this site? http://www.apple.com/quicktime/guide/appleevents/

If they won't be streaming it live, then I suppose option 1 in the poll will just refer to those who are actually going to the event.

they have not streamed it live for a couple of years now.

i usually have macrumorslive, macnn, and spymac open and refreshing wantonly during the keynote, and then i watch the show itself when apple posts it a couple of hours after its over.

I'll watch it live if Apple streams it live online. What else is there to do?

I think it's funny that Apple used to stream it and doesn't anymore. As technology and bandwith progresses, I'd expect it to go the other way.

Gonna watch whatever stream they post when I get home from work. Don't want to know ANYTHING about it until I see it happen in QuickTime.

I'll probably be sleeping . So I'll hopefully be awake by the time that it's posted on Apple's site. Otherwise I'm going to have to have to read all the live text updatey things. I really do wish that they'd start streaming them live again .
Either way it'll be crazy and I'll love it. I had someone tell me tonight "I'll talk to you tomorrow" and I warned them, its' WWDC tomorrow, I'll probably be gushing over new products all day!

When it starts, I'll promise myself not to check any of the reports because I want to see it in all its QuickTime glory.

Approximately 42 seconds into the show, Safari will begin to beg for mercy, as I will have approximately 99 bazillion tabs open, refreshing sporadically.

I have no willpower.

Any ramblings are entirely my own, and do not represent those of my employers, coworkers, friends, or species

I like watching Mr. Jobs give his Keynotes. Not just because he reveals the latest and greatest in Mac tech. and Apple's plans for the future and what-not, but because of his technique and style.

In fact, i studied the way he delivers his information and applied some of his tactics for a presentation in one of my business communication class....... as expected, i got an 'A'. I don't know about the lot of you, but believe me, my worst fear is speaking in front of a large audience. But after doing as well as i did because of this, I can go through something like that again with no problem!

As for wether i'll watch it live or not............ OF COURSE i'll watch it live!

Don't bully me, I got an Uzi... HOO-HAH!

I've never understood the widespread fear of speaking in front of a large audience. They don't even throw rotten fruit these days.

Apparently the top two fears most people have are public speaking and death... I've done both... actually now that I've gone through being outed I really have no major fears anymore.

Not a whole lot to say on the topic. Was just before my third birthday, mom was teaching me how to swim in the pool in our back yard. Neighbour came over to the fence, mom went to say hi, I went to follow her through the deep end... she turned around and saw me hanging about a foot below the surface of the water, drowned. They called 911, dragged me out of the water, the fire men got there, as did the ambulance, and they did all that CPR stuff.
Meanwhile of course I'm kinda dead, (yes clinically) and got a nifty vision of heaven. You know the normal deal, bright light, street of gold, it was cool big houses on either side, lots of white, walked down the street, hung a right, and boom there's God. Kinda hard to describe, a lil beyond understanding... like a thing in a box that wasn't in a box... very pretty. Then I saw Jesus who basically told me, "It's not your time to be here yet, you gotta go back" and I was like.. whaa? NOOOO! And then boom I'm back in this place.
It was nice, typically kids always get an impression of God based on their relationship with their parents. If your parents are good, God must be good, if your parents suck God must stuck. Because of my early experience with God I never got that. I just always knew God loved me. Growing up He was the only person I was ever really sure loved me .

Wow. You sure are creative. But you have to ask yourself.... would you have had the same vision if you weren't raised to be religious?

BTW... was he black? Jesus?

I am so jealous. I'd give anything for a mountain here in Florida. Imagine my shock when I landed here after living on mountains back in South Africa.
The local climbing gym leaves a lot to be desired.

I wasn't raised religious, at this point in my family's life we didn't bother with Church. And was He black? Nope, He actually looked exactly like a corney Jesus painting that I'd later see in a Church basement (again we'd never even attended that church at this point) I imagine it was more important that I know who He was than that I have an accurate idea of skin colour.

I'm guessing resolution independence, maybe that rumored in addition to an updated Finder. I noticed that the Finder was almost not mentioned about but once or twice—something along the lines of "your standard Finder window." I imagine they have some big stuff planned for the Finder.

I want a quad. Fo' serious.
