So I ordered a new computer case on Tuesday and chose FedEx Home Delivery because they said I would have it by Saturday. Regular ground won't delivery on Saturday. Well, according to tracking info the box has been in Nashville since yesterday afternoon but was not sent out for delivery today and they aren't open on Mondays. FedEx Home Delivery only runs Tuesday-Saturday. So, now I really wish I would have chosen FedEx Ground cause I'd have it Monday instead of having to wait until Tuesday. Anyway, just wanted to vent here rather than take it out on a small animal. Thanks for listening.

FedEx and UPS are shameful excuses for delivery companies. I've had repeated, terrible experiences with both.

Well I do that with smaller packages but it would have been $50 more so I decided I'd wait a few more days and save the money.

I called back and now they tell me it wasn't delivered today because it was shipped to an incorrect address. But I have my confirmation email from where I ordered the case and it is the correct address. So I don't understand how they can use that excuse. But, they said I could pick it up at the main office so I'm going to do that.

Well, whenever I get upset with FedEx or UPS, I tell myself the following:

That could be UPS' new slogan.

I've never had a problem with FedEx.

This is my first issue with FedEx but it really isn't a big deal. I was just disappointed to have to wait 3 more days. I've had a few problems with UPS. My biggest problem was their leaving an iBook I sold on eBay that was marked signature required without a signature at someone's door and it was stolen before the person got home. It took me a month to get money from the insurance claim and my dad shipped it for me and didn't get insurance for the right amount so I lost $100 plus the shipping amount in the deal.

I've had a big problem with FedEx this week... They were supposed to make attempts 3 consecutive business days with my iPod. Thursday they came and no one was home. No big deal, I thought, they'll come tomorrow. Friday comes, and there's somebody home at my house all day, and nobody comes. Called FedEx during the day, they said it was on the truck and would show up before 9. Of course it didn't. Saturday was the same deal. Said it was on the truck, and would arrive before 8:30. Never showed. Now I'm probably just going to pick it up on tuesday, which sucks. I hate FedEx, now not only because they couldn't make their "3 Consecutive Business Days" but also because their CSRs were telling me lies to get me off their back. ALL I WANT IS MY IPOD!!!!

I've had small minor problems with the post office, UPS, and FedEx before... but *never* Airborne Express. Their shipping prices are the cheapest out of all of them, online tracking is just as good if not better, and where I live (in the middle of no where) all packages are delivered at 10:30 AM. Also, normal overnight includes Saturday delivery.
