Hello,
For some odd reason, sometimes when I try to open a program or folder, the system will turn into a very very slow mode, almost not moving at all, than all I hear is the, *tick* *tick* sound from my CPU noise. Everytime that happens, I see that my memory usage goes down to almost none.
When I check my system.log it gives me this:
computer-name kernel[0]: disk0s3: I/O error.
computer-name kernel[0]: disk1s2: 0x5 (UNDEFINED).
Anyone know why it's doing this or how to fix this problem?
I repaired my disk and everything, even with diskwarrior, but same thing still happens sometimes... I also repaired my disk permissions as well, but that didn't solve it either...
Thanks,
Ming

Seems it's a hardware problem with your hard disk, I strongly suggest you do a backup of your important files and take the computer to a tech support center.

Your harddrive is dying. Clicking and ticking noises mean that you have to replace is asap!
So make a backup, get a new drive and migrate everything from your old drive to your new drive. The easiest way to do this is to install MacOS X from scratch onto the new drive and then use the Migration Assistant to transfer all the old files, settings and applications. Be warned, though, if the drive should hang, you might have to re-install your system by hand!

Thanks, I was afraid this might be the case... I'll have to look for a new drive soon than. At first I thought it might be my ram.
Thanks,
Ming
