hi guys,

Downloaded the Mac Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.0 yesterday, and now I get a kernel panic every time I shut down.

panic.log looks like this almost every time

okay it gets more bizarre:

I just removed Cisco's VPN client, and now whenever i say shut down the computer reboots. i'm not kidding.

ideas? *puzzled*

even stranger, sudo -k shutdown now gives me this:
*** FINAL System shutdown message from <hostname> ***

System going down IMMEDIATELY





System shutdown time has arrived
but you'll have to do it yourself
and then just sits there....
