Nice! When did you order it? I'm seriously considering getting one but after hearing how much demand there is I'm a bit weary about how long newly placed orders might take to ship.

Recently lost my thumbdrive so I was excited about this, thought I'd could carry a few tunes around all the time and still have a thumbdrive then I read that you have to have a different device to charge it through USB. If I have to carry two things between work and home then I'll stick with thumbdrive and Nano.

Or you can get an old shuffle.

I still use mine for that purpose...you don't have to get the new one just because it is new, the old one works infinetely better for the purpose you described. Find a cheap old shuffle on eBay.
