Is the dreaded VBR mp3 "bug" fixed (I know it's according to spec but that doesn't help me playing DivXs..)? I guess not since that would be a patch for Quicktime.
How is the performance of the Encoder? And has the decoder improved anything? They claim it plays back ISO mp4? Is that correct and does it support AAC then? Can you encode into mp4 also?

I've tried it. So far I don't see any improvement over Apple's MP4 at the same bitrate. It only encodes to .avi and I don't know about the mp3 bug - I'm more concerned with video quality. The encoder allows you to select the audio codec you want, so AAC shound be supported.
