It's so underpaid someone suggested 4000 must be the challenge cR cap.


Aside from undervaluing MM kills for being as difficult as they are, check out your profile. I'll bet our most devoted players here don't have much more than 2000 MM kills.
Of course, the real comparison is the Blastin' and Relaxin' challenges. Last week I had to kill 400 in any game mode for... 4000 cR!

I think there's a possibility that the Weekly was designed with MM in mind to stop everyone from getting it 2 hours, but seriously... the payout is so skewed. 400 in MM would be hard enough.

Yeah, I was thinking about that one yesterday. Like you said, most of us have around 2000 kills (I don't think I have 2000, yet) and that's after around a month. Now we're supposed to do 1000 in one week? I was really hoping I had misread that challenge.

I wouldn't call it the worst weekly challenge. The challenge itself is just fine. It's the payout that sucks. 4000 is crap. It should be double that. I can get 3000 today with just 2 games of firefight.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - 2000 cR
Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach.

Covenant-cide - 1000 cR
Kill 90 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking.

I average around 100 kills in a firefight game.

After the carnage had ended, we headed to the race track to finish hashing out our differences. On Paradiso, those differences were hashed out early and ugly.

On the decline a began to slide-out. I quickly readjut my strategy and begin driving in reverse, Bourne style.



Work Harder, not Smarter



Bogues' well thought-out strategy of trying to plow through me backfires (unsurpsingly) and I go sideways, completely blocking the bridge. Fatty seeing the current success of Bogues' plan, decides that joining in is the obvious solution.



7 - 10 Split



Physics decides it's had enough and the Mongeese split like the Red Sea, and become just as wet.



I love it when a "plan" comes together



Everyone not named Bogues, Fatty or Dakar drive through unperturbed as I sit on my lodged Mongoose. A moment later, fatty will "help" yet again, by punching it off the bridge.

Supposedly there is a way you can fly a Pelican in Halo:Reach. There's a video on Youtube, but I' not exactly sure what he does... does he activate a couple of buttons? And then his falcon switches to a Pelican?

I believe someone already had found an easter-egg in Alexandria via a switch, so they just scoured Alexandria for switches. Not sure how they knew to fly in that hole in the building to switch the falcon to a pelican. I know some hints were given with the announcement, but I didn't see the announcement.

I think that one's done on purpose, though. They want to get more people signed in to Bungie.net and they don't care how many CR they give away to get people to do it. After all, CR is worth nothing. A big number like that is going to attract alot of people that haven't signed in yet.

The stockpile and invasion achievements might be a bitch but the rest look easy. I'm just glad Bungie didn't add another rank achievement.

So I signed on last night to get the dumb challenge. It said complete as soon as I went into mMM, but I couldn't tell whether I got the credits or not.

I ended up on a game of BTB on Hemorrhage. Close game. At some point I'm camping with my Revenant on the cliff waiting for a guy to try and invade and a team mate spawns next to me and starts DMRing me. I move out of the spawn just to shut him up but he keeps at it. Moments later he gets the Wraith so I decide to pepper him to see how much he likes it. Then I leave, and then get crushed by one of his artillery blasts from the wraith. He proceeds to die, then quit.

Good riddance to this game.

Pretty impressive given that I own FEAR (awfully boring game) and RSV2 which didn't last extremely long. Honorable mention goes to GoW2.

Fatty, saint and I wrecked the corvette by natural awesomeness.

The Elite assassination is awful. I spent 30 min trying it one day for the hell of it. I could rarely run far enough, never got a single assassination, but twice did a one-hit kill against his back, which makes no sense to me.

I got the Corvette Engine Escort achievement by playing co-op. It was pretty easy.

For the "If they came to hear me beg" achievement, I followed the instructions on this video. Taking out your shields and heath with a grenade was a big help. It took me a while to get the timing of the jump down but once I did, the achievement unlocked the first time I assassinated the Elite.

Tried to get the "If they came to hear me beg" achievement. Died 60 some times. Assassinated the elite 4 times - 3 without the animation, 1 with the animation. Didn't get the achievement.

I'll research it again after my Legendary run thru. I've started my Legendary run thru since I'm at the second level of Lt. Colonel - don't want to get the highest rank with no higher to go.
