Not to mention excellent use of child labor. Personally, I enjoy the sweat and feces stained hand-me-downs available at the Salvation Army.

Pants:
-Ben Davis (the only kind of pants/shorts I own) When the pants wear out I make them into shorts and replace the pants with the same color.
Tops:
-Russell (sweatshirts)
-t-shirts from goodwill
-white button-down short-sleeve shirts from Sears.
Shoes:
-Emerica (always all black)
-Black work shoes (also from Sears)
I also own a dark grey wool coat from goodwill, the tag was removed so the brand remains a mystery.
And that is my entire wardrobe.

saddest thread ever.
i like stuff without any visible branding. and i don't mind paying a lot for good quality clothing. Most brand name clothing is badly cut, doesn't last and is of cheap material.

i wear all of these brands because of their top quality and excellent design. i don't care if they actually have the brand name visibly displayed (as matter of fact, i prefer if they don't).

Cheap, noname brand from Japan. Good quality, no child labour, good designs. The basics, like a better GAP.
Otherwise Paul Smith. Never anything that shows a label where anyone can see it.

Whatever fits and looks good. I rarely buy clothes with brand names showing; I don't pay extra to do their advertising for them, and I'm not insecure enough to have to broadcast to the world that I wear "cool" stuff!

Wrangler jeans and Vans shoes.
Everybrand of jean I've tried I couldn't get my legs into without going for fat guy sizes. (I'm not a fat guy, just couldn't get my thighs in them )
Vans are nice and wide & comfortable.
T-shirts, jumpers, socks and shorts: pretty much anything.

Often the branding is only just visible, and it's good quality inexpensive stuff.
MEC is just sports stuff though - no "standard" clothes. I'll buy anything that's good quality, but if the branding is plastered all over it, I'll shy away. Well, except for Macs. I like the glowing Apple on the back of my TiBook screen.

Wrangler or Levis jeans, Arrow dress-shirts and dockers. Any kinda decent looking cheap casual shirts. I'm not a major name brand kinda guy really. Whatever looks cool and doesn't cost a fortune.

Sorry...not a slave to branding. In fact, quite the opposite. I rebel against some of the major brands. I wouldn't be caught dead in anything Tommy *shiver*. I buy what fits, is comfortable and looks good (in jeans, usually Levi or Arizona). About the only brand I look for is in boots, Lugz, and that's just because they fit me so well and can take a beating.

Banana Republic
J. Crew
The Jap, um I mean The Gap.
I like their clothes only because their medium sizes seem to be made just for me, and their decent quality and last for a long time.
As long as there is never, ever any logo/label showing.
As for footwear, I wear Campers and Simples. Again, no logo's ever.
The only logotype of any kind that I don't mind are the Apple and VW logo. I would never wear them on my body though.
There's nothing better than a simple black t-shirt and grey pants, or in the winter, a simple black sweater with grey pants. Occasionaly, one simple stripe on a sweater looks alright. For more formal, grey pants and a simple black or darker grey button down shirt with collar points, not buttoned down.

The only clothing brand I actually buy for the brand is Vans shoes. For some reason that I still don't understand completely, these shoes are the most comfortable brand I've ever owned. It never fails; I've tried others, and I keep coming back. Maybe it's something with my feet, I guess.
Other than that, I don't care about brands much; I just buy what happens to be comfortable and looks decent. Which, come to think about it, is why I buy that one anyway.

I happen to be 6' 8" tall, so the brand is never the issue for me. Always try to look for quality. My last purchase was at "The Big And Tall Store." Brand choice is not an option, always need to find clothing that fits me! Of the few choice that I have, my purchased is based on personal preference! I shop infrequently!

I pretty much wear the same "uniform" every day:
- A generic solid-colored t-shirt -- usually black, grey or navy blue. The brand doesn't matter, just so long as it's big and baggy.
- Levis jeans
- Vans tennies

yup.
i worked for banana republic and i know they are great people and enjoy the simple classic stuff they make although they do make more trendy things.
i do not wear logos either except if i support them. i have a futurama t-shirt and a diabolic one too. sneakers are a different story. i have adidas all stars, they make sneakers without logos?

For me it is not so I can have the name on me. I never wear a shirt with a visible logo or "Guess" written across it.
There is a HUGE difference in quality and even more, design.
You shop at Wal-Mart you look like you shopped at wal-mart.
You shop at Guess you look like you have style.
Also, I find that name brand stuff even though it costs more lasts way longer and are better materials.

K-Mart doesn't sell Apple T-Shirts that say "Short Hills" on them, moron.
Please post un-Photoshopped pix of me wearing K-Mart attire in a public place. I dare you. I triple dog dare you.

looking like you have style doesn't mean you have style.
put someone like Ca$h or G4ME in your clothes (yeah, i know you probably have that fantasy a lot). are you saying they'd look as stylish as you're pretty much claiming to? or, would they merely look like someone trying to look stylish?
at least 50% of looking stylish, is mentality and physique. it has far less to do with the clothes a person is wearing; they're just the icing on the cake, as it were. you can dress a tramp in Gucci, and he'll look like a tramp in Gucci. on the other hand, you could dress [grabs name out of a hat] george clooney in that tramp's clothes, and he's going to get away with it, because he has style. not the clothes. the person.
back to answering the topic:
i wear jeans, and i like'em to last, so i buy 501's. i like my footwear to last, too. so, it's been Caterpillars on my feet for about 10 years now, with Nike & Adidas making an appearance, every now and then. i don't really go for branded clothing, the same as most other people have mentioned. if anything, you'll find me in a rock t-shirt, as i get sent free ones all the time
summary: i wear comfortable stuff, and i'm not bothered about what people think of the way i dress, because i'm not a poser. that's why i didn't start a thread like this.
