I have a data CD-ROM that is a Windows based sort of thing. I want to made a disc image or at least another disc so I can have it in may desktop and powerbook at the same time. I tried making a disc image then burning it but it has a different icon, a folder instead of the CD-ROM icon. The Virtual PC 6.1 program does not recocnize it.

How can I make a disc image and how can I make an exact copy of the CD-ROM? It is not a copy protected CD.

The disc image I tried is not accessable because it is not in drive"D". What is the workaround?

I tried it several different ways. It does not work. Now maybe I am just not seeing it. There is no menue option to duplicate a disc. Everything involves making and manipulating disc images. I tried them all and no option duplicates the cd exactly.

When you make the image select CD/DVD master. Then rename the extension to .iso, if it doesnt do it on its own.
