I have a 12" (1GHz) PowerBook attached to an Apple Studio Display (17") via a DVI to ADC adapter. Plugged into the Studio Display is an Apple Keyboard and into that an Apple Mouse.

When I turn on the PowerBook (via the button on the display, for what it's worth) they keyboard and mouse do not work until I unplug the USB cable from the DVI->ADC adapter from the PowerBook and then re-plug it in.

Is this normal? I've tried more than one Apple Keyboard and it does it regardless. It's really annoying!

Thanks for any help.
