Hi all,

Well, finally got my wireless notebook adapter and plugged it into my Titanium Powerbook. Hooked my G5 up to my linksys wireless router (although it's hard-wired). Set up the router, turned on the laptop, and voila! It was all working.

Then, I set up my little home network, enabled file sharing and printer sharing on both computers, and voila, that works too!

So, what settings, checkboxes, etc do I need to check to make SURE I've not overlooked anything vital? Any and all suggestions will be welcome.

Also, as I type this, I'm getting a "server connection time out" message saying that the laptop has timed out, does this mean it just momentarily lost the wireless signal?

Anyway, thanks for reading and contributing.

Tom

If it's working, you've probably got anything "vital" setup correctly. So yes, you're doing it right The timeout message sounds like either your laptop has gone to sleep, or maybe is switching/reestablishing which network it is on. I'd check in on the internet settings for the laptop.
Cheers
