I am King.

Here's the backstory: Several months ago I discovered the identity of the adopted-at-birth Steve Jobs biological father, someone he talked about in his Stanford graduation speech in June. Turns out Jobs wasn't born in San Fran, as he's always claimed, but Madison, Wisconsin, something he's known for decades -- yet another example of his famous reality distortion field." Getting the assignment to research and write about the from Fast Company, I and my co-author Alan Deutschman, a staff writer there, traced Jobs' old man from his 1931 birth in Syria -- making Jobs the most-prominent living Arab-American -- through his current residence in the states, and many many points in between, producing a 3,700 word article other well-established authors and editors have called "very interesting" "wonderful,

Everyone knows? Really? That's cool. But as long as I've been a Mac User (ten years) I've never heard anything even remotely close to this. No I think you're full of it unless you can show me proof.

Well, ThinkInsane that's why I posted. I think it's very interesting. It's ****ing cool as Hell if you ask me. He's a fellow Muslim brother.

It's interesting stuff, actually.

No, it's not relevant, but interesting.

I'm just pissed off because my son screwed up my PowerBook when I went out to dinner.

Did I know Steve's "Syrian"? No.
Do I care? No.

Am I gonna knock back a date with Shannon Elizabeth because she's "Syrian"? No.
Am I gonna knock back a date with Shannon Elizabeth because she's got plastic inserts? Yes.

Does being born of Syrian parents automatically make make him Muslim?
Were his biological parents Muslim? does that automatically make him Muslim?
Does a child born of biological parents who are Muslim automatically become regardless of how the child is raised?
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.

It does explain why he's so hot tempered and considered an a**hole it's a result of him having terrorist extremist blood running in his veins.

Preform a google search last night and it turned up all kinds of things including the wiki info. The guy in the link that I posted must have done the same thing.

Steve Jobs is only half-Syrian. His biological mother is Joanne Simpson, an Anglo-American woman, making Steve a bi-racial person; Steve's half Syrian and half Anglo. Steve's sister Mona Simpson (a famous writer) is his full sister, a product of both Steve's biological parents (who eventually married after giving Steve up for adoption, but later divorced). Mona Simpson used their mom's maiden name as can be seen by her name.
