After mom's PC died a few weeks ago I pulled out my old Dual 1.25Ghz PowerMac for her to use. Firefox 4 has been released and I downloaded it, and lo and behold, Intel only. The download page says it is a universal app.

The PPC hold-outs are going to have to either stop holding out or stop getting new software. Xcode deliberately breaks support for building for PPC.

An outside party has used the Firefox 4 source code to build for PPC.
