This is a picture of what I get when ever I go to the option menu to open up a movie file like, avi, mov, mpg, etc.

It is a list of several programs some of them copies of the same program.

I get a simliar (but longer) list when ever I try to open up a jpg, or other picture type file. Please help me I have this same problem on 2 computers and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Thanks

Wrong forum, you'll get many more responses in the Mac OS X forum.

Get a utility like the free (and popular) Onyx and reset the Launch Services Database.

I don't know why OS X does this. I hope it's fixed in Leopard.
