tonight i was searching through facebook, and found a person that i havent been in contact since elementry school because i moved, and now were facebook buddies, and it turns out that she goes to a school that i applied to (small world) anyways, what im trying to say is that if your on facebook make sure to look for people from your past that you might want to talk to again, some of the time youd be amazed by who you find. facebook truly is an awesome awesome invention.

disclaimer:
i am in no way working or related to (to my knowledge) to someone that works for facebook, i just think its really awesome.

anyways: if you have your own facebook stories that youd like to share, please do so

I always found facebook helpful to get contact info for people in my classes. It was very useful when I needed some help the day before something was due. This also let me ask a few people instead relying on just one or two that I had gotten numbers from in class.

Lightning McQueen is your friend
I've also got Kuzco from "The Emperor's New Groove" and ISU's Spiderman. I found a Kirsten Dunst to be married to for a while but she dumped me

Wow, almost the same thing happened to me. Randomly got friended by one of my best friends ...from 4th grade. Hadn't seen this guy in about 14 years.

My disclaimer:
I'm not working for or related to anyone who works for facebook. I have however met Mark Zuckerberg and am friends with his ex. He's an ass.

There was a discussion about Facebook not so long back on some other site (BBC, I think).
Conclusion: Facebook takes all the fun out of meeting people, since you know their shoe size before you've laid eyes on them.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

It's a bit depressing, watching people move from this:

Name: John Smith
Network: UNC Chapel Hill

to this:

Name: John Smith
Network: Telenet Sales Company

I don't think I'll transfer my school account over to a corporate account when I graduate, too lame.

Overall I think it sucks. I went to a college with under 2,500 students and facebook became the `best way to meet people on campus.` Or so said our college newspaper. Good lord people. There are only 2500 students! Its super frickin easy to meet people.

Anyway. Super lame time waster.

Look at the bright side tho, easier to meet somebody who's looking for an above average, um, shoe size...if you happen to have one.

d4n....hey, i'm the last person to give benefits of the doubt to evillyingcheatingdirtywhores, but it doesnt much look like an extended, grab the back of the other persons head type makin' out and the girl on the left apparently thinks the whole things HI-larious so who knows, maybe she's kissing a gayboy or some such.

At the very least, the girl on the left is probably hittable.

The facebook is good when you have nothing else to do and don't feel like being productive. Earlier this year, I was facebooked by this girl that I technically went out with in 7th grade. She moved away and then I didn't talk to her again. Turns out she goes to college in my city and lives about 2 minutes from my apartment. Small world. I love the facebook.

I made Bill Gates using my CS email.. bastards at facebook deleted that account. My facebook account is pretty useless though, it's just a bunch of my friends and random people writting stuff on my wall.

So far mine have gone untouched...I was smart enough to use hidden mail lists, so as far as they know it's a valid ISU email address.
