What's your iTunes EQ?

I've been wondering what other people set their iTunes EQ to, along with what speakers they use it for. The idea being maybe a few of us have identical or near enough speakers that we could try out a different pair of ears with... sort of.
Now, to make this as simple yet convoluted as possible I wrote an AppleScript that when run will generate an applescript:// encoded URL. When that script URL is opened and run it will set iTunes' Manual EQ preset to the same settings as the poster.
This is that script: Show me yours (the EQ getting script those interested in sharing will run)
And this is the output they'll post: Show you mine (the URL encoded EQ setting script everyone can run)
That's for a Logitech Z-2300 set with the bass knob turned to the mid-point. I mostly listen to hard rock with a dose of old R&B/Soul stuff so I like a fairly beefy sound.
Unfortunately I didn't find a way to activate the Manual EQ automagically, and the script will prompt you if you're already using it.

(or do you only listen over the internal speakers, in which case of course slightly louder and still crap is better than almost inaudible and crap...)

Wow. Three in a row. Well, nearly.
I've never tried a waveform like that. Too bad you cheapskates didn't use the first link I put up.

Wouldn't it be better to decrease the mids instead of increasing the lows and highs?

Why decrease when you can increase?

Of course that's for the internal speakers. I don't carry around external speakers with me.

I secretly set other people's iTunes EQ to this setting as it is my favorite default.
This post is in honor of chris v and his wonderful work and all-around amazingness.

Nothing like oodles of digital distortion on tiny crappy laptop computer speakers. I hear Moby is going for this sound in his next set of commercial soundtracks.

Dude.
"Michael Bolton is my main-man" is not a good setup for you. You should be embarrassed I saw that setting on your EQ saved presets.

But you didn't need to erase it.
Do you know how long it took me to find a setting that made Michael Bolton sound good?

Blasphemy!!! Get your ears checked!
Plus, you were listening to the Raffi with that setting.
And that's just wrong.
I did you a favor. You should be thankful dammit!

It depends on what I'm listening on and the music.
On my MBP I boost everything up 6 db but trim the high because it gets tinny; on the Xeon with seperate speakers I boost the highs and lows. Headphones require a different setting too, mostly boosting lows.
