No, at least not yet. A script that downloads all messages from Gmail and acts as a POP server for them. I'll look into how Mail.app bundles work, it would be cool if I could package it all into a plugin.
Cool, thanks for looking into things...

That bdegan plugin worked like a charm. GMail from Mail. Didn't really expect to be able to do that. I'll probably actually use my GMail account now.

Sweet, I'm glad to see someone else get a solution out there too. My current solution also involved libgmail. Now that someone else has released this, I'm not sure if I should still roll it into gCount. Hm.

i hate to be greedy, but can you roll this into mail like a bundle (similar to httpmail)?
the gmail plugin works for me (took 2 installs), but it is really slow (don't know if a different version will be any faster) and those two dock icons bother me. if you could roll this functionality into gcount, i think that would be awesome.
but hey, i'll never bite the hand that feeds me. i am too happy that someone made this for mail.

I would love it if you rolled it into gcount as well. It would make an awesome app even cooler

I just force quit them, and the app still works. Seems to be working pretty well.
And I havne't noticed much a speed problem, either. Its not instant, but none of my email servers are.

Same. I was telling people how cool gmail is, but not ever using it myself
