Anyone watching this show on ABC? I am totally hooked, man. It's not like it's an original concept or anything, but the characters are just so interesting. I think the coolest part of the show is the "character-centric" episodes, which show flashbacks of a certain character and fleshing them out as real people.

The other best part is the actress that plays "Kate." Yowza!

Basic Premise:
A plane flying from Australia crashes on an uncharted island, weird things start happening and adventure/drama ensue.

Here in Guam the episodes air a week late...so I have to be careful when surfing the 'Net so I don't get the episodes spoiled.

Anybody else hooked on the show?

This show will be the death of me, I am far too addicted. Brilliant story line, acting could be a bit better, but the suspense surely makes up for that.

I caught last week's episode and got hooked. Forgot it was on tonight. I have a DVR and I'm not even making use of it.

I'll just wait for re-runs of this season so I can watch it from the start.

MOS, I think the series is designed so you can jump in at any time. You would have missed out on some good stuff, though. Reruns should be on in the next few months. This is the only show on TV I do not miss. Can't wait for the Season 1 DVD's!

i have no idea why they picked this timeslot. 8 o'clock is terrible for a show like this. I always forget and miss half of it.

I've been watching it from the beginning. It's from J.J. Abrams, the creator of Felicity and Alias.

They mentioned it at the end of the show tonight.

Does it seems like the segments are very short - in other words, a lot of commercial breaks? Or is the show that good it just seems that way?

I feel like they're showing a commercial every 5 minutes.

I don't ever watch TV, but I must admit I'm completely hooked on this show as well. I remember seeing the teasers many months back and though to myself it looked horrible, but it really is an excellent show.
I also find House on Fox to be pretty good.
Fire up Azureus and get all the shows here!

Fear not, nothing has happened plot wise since the first episode.

If you really want to get into it read the recaps at www.televisionwithoutpity.com
-"I don't believe in God. "
"That doesn't matter. He believes in you."

-"I'm not agnostic. Just nonpartisan. Theological Switzerland, that's me."

Yes, it *is* a great show -- and the final episode will be great. I don't want to give away too much (unless someone wants me to), but keep your eyes peeled for the lotto numbers (a kind of side story) and make no assumptions about Danielle, either -- she may not be exactly who you think she is.

I've seen theories of the numbers being biblical passages...
About Danielle, the previews seem to imply that she will steal the baby, so maybe she's an "other" or maybe she does it because the "others" took her baby...who knows. I can't wait for tomorrow night!

Where might you have gotten info to give away?

Lots of research on the internet. One decent spoiler site for various shows is SpoilerFix.com. They kind of take the most talked about rumors and spoilers and list them all.

As for Danielle, what's one question no one's ever asked her?

If it wasn't for me having cable internet, I doubt I would even watch TV.

When I do, it's usually never prime-time garbage.

It's totally different garbage all together.

What? What's the question?

We get network TV a week late here in Guam. I'll be watching May 18's episode tonight and the finale next week. Don't tell me what happens!

Bah, I'm not reading the end of this thread because I haven't seen the most recent eps. Man I guess I should get them quick before tomorrow night's finale! This show has been totally sweet. I don't know what they will do with season 2, but season 1 has been really nice.

BTW, has anyone else seen Kate (Evangeline Lilly) on commercials for Livelinks? Wow, I just see now that she's on the front page of their website.

She's been the model for those commercials for a lot longer than this show has existed. She's either still doing it or they are pimping her out 'cause she's on a popular TV show. Probably the latter.

Jesus, the one question nobody's asked her? Nobody asks her any questions, or at least not any relevant ones. But shoot, I'll take some guesses:

- What is the monster?
- How do you have electricity?
- How big is the island? Geographically, where is it?
- Do you know any good recipes for preparing polar bear meat?
- Who are the others?
- May we use some of your supplies?
- What else do you know that might be important to our survival?

Oh, that's right. They have bigger issues, like lottery numbers and--what was the other thing? French song lyrics? I sure don't know how they'd survive without getting those mysteries solved. For being trapped on some freak island, with a bunch of strangers, and some crazy folk trying to kill them all, the survivors are quite possibly the 40 least inquisitive people on the planet.

- Asked and answered already.
- Already been discussed a long time ago.
- They know where the island is/been discussed already.
- Stupid comment.
- Asked and answered.
- Asked, answered, done.
- Stupid question since they're already surviving.

Try again, mien kapitan.

last weeks ep seemed to tie things together well, we'll see how they end the cliffhanger tonight.

question for danielle: did she go crazy and kill her family/crew and blame it on the others?

just questions: did anyone survive off that old galleon? The bodies in the caves were dressed in modern (well this century) clothes. How did that galleon end up right in the middle of the island?

who put a security robot on the island, and WTF is it guarding? Syndrome's lair?

Everyone's made an assumption about Danielle, the repeating transmission, and time -- this *should* be clarified in tonight's episode. Don't forget to keep asking yourself how she's managed to stay alive for so long, either...maybe she has some help...? Remember, too,t hat she lost her baby -- the others took it from her. Remember who has seen the "monster" and who hasn't, who survived and who didn't.

Yeah ive been watching this show as well...i like the character centric episodes. very cool take on it. but its really annoying waiting to find out what that damn monster in the jungle is !!! arghhh..... Overall, very good show, and it's nice to see actual TV new n fresh shows coming out.. as opposed to reality-shows-crap or 'crime scene investigation'/forensic shows.

Lately, ive been watching 'Desperate housewives' and 'Lost' (and 'Seinfeld' reruns....but that goes without saying )

the numbers were numbers that that person in the "ward" kept saying over and over again. i can not remember who hurley heard them from, but he ended up using them on the lottery. he won millions, but unluckiness came with it.
his grandfather died. his mother broke her ankle when he went to show her the mansion he bought for her, then it burnt down, and he got arrested.

thus the reason he did not want the hatch opened.

but damn, what an episode.
