Hi: I'm running 10.8.4 and have been for a while. For the last month or two on rare occasions my Magic Trackpad wouldn't respond smoothly with regards to cursor position - it would jerk around. The only remedy seems to be to turn off/on the trackpad. Lately it's been getting worse; I've been restarting the trackpad many times/day. I thought I might trash the trackpad prefs, but can't find it.
Additionally, I just noticed yesterday that the trackpad pref pane is missing in the system prefs window - though I can do a find there and it will open it.
Finally, yes, I am using BetterTouch. However, disabling/uninstalling that nifty utility has no affect on the previously mentioned issues.
Any thoughts, preferably with a resolution, would be appreciated!
