I have spent many hours trying to install Mac OS 9 on a Performa 6115CD with 72MB of ram with no luck whatsoever. I have tried clean installs, custom installs, full installs, with and without a working system folder (8.5) and even tried initializing the hard drive (350 MB) and repeating all the above combinations and continue to come up with the following error message which occurs about 3-4 minutes into the installation process:
"Problems were encountered accessing the file "Voice Verification" on the disk "Hard Disk". Please move the file to another folder and try again".
After repeating the process, sometimes the file referred to is "UDF Volume", TV Tuner Guide Additions", "System Resources" or "Tool".
When I go to the hard disk looking for these files, there are NONE with any such name. Just an empty disk. And, YES, I did run utilities to check the disk and all reported that the disk was fine.
Please help!
