My wife DVR'd Michelle Obama on "The View" today. I watched it tonight, and I have to say, she came across a lot better than Cindy McCain does (I really dislike her, and think he's better off the less she's in the public eye). Mrs Obama though really did a service to her husband, not only humanizing herself but him too.

Flame away!

I don't think either spouse is very impressive, but that doesn't really matter to me. I'm sure Michelle Obama will have some more big gaffs in the race.
The 4 o'clock train will be a bus.
It will depart at 20 minutes to 5.

Actually, I'm not (my wife is however). I would honestly be ok with McCain or Obama as president. I was very much in Obama's camp against Clinton, but now that we're down to two, I'm fine with either outcome.

We're all pretty much limited to the impressions we get from the media. I think it's pretty cool that the Obamas are using the media to their advantage rather than letting it beat them to death like Bush did to Kerry.

Agreed. Once someone has admitted to watching The View, all his/her credibility is gone.

I predict that besson3c will shortly ask: "so, how is Obama an elitist and moreso one than any other candidate?"

In response: He was one of the few to get caught.

As with Michele and her makeover, how many times does Barack Obama have to "remake" or "re-introduce" himself?

Along with his penchant of following-up on his own statements the next day with his "What I meant to say was....", it's as if he can never get it right the first time, or the second time.

Obama Moves To Reintroduce Himself to Voters

Clicking on that doesn't do anything. What kind of scam are you trying to pull spacefreak?? I clicked on it about 20 times, and nothing happened!

It's fixed. Now, perhaps a chuckle for you!

So many tempting options, too.

You guys don't seem to criticize Obama himself that much. It's all guilt by association.

Guilt? I think there's enough false crap going around about both of the candidates without morons like Larry Sinclair. Just look at the threads here. Obama is a too-black secret muslim who wants to turn America into a Muslim police state. McCain is so old that his senility is causing him to lose touch with reality, the result of which will be him nuking Iran as soon as he gets into office.

It's all BS. Debate their political views. They are different enough that people who become educated about it can pick a side without resorting to petty fear mongering.
