Mac OS X 10.6.2

Symptom

After the computer wakes from sleep there may be no sound. Visual feedback indicates you have changed the volume when you press the volume keys on the keyboard, but you do not hear any sound. Applications that should produce sound do not. This happens maybe every second time the computer wakes from sleep. Putting the computer and RE-waking fixes the problem.

I made a quick search in the history, didn't see anything helpful... no articles match on the apple forums other than this one: Mac OS X: Loss of Sound After Waking From Sleep which isn't relevant.

Any help appreciated. This post has been presented in Hardware AND System as I'm not sure which its relative to. Mods please delete or approve as appropriate.

Thanks
Kent

Are you using ClickToFlash and/or does the (System Prefs) Sound panel indicate the output is being routed to the headphones?

Not using ClickToFlash, and when this occurs it does not matter which output the sound pref panel shows the sound going out to.

It hasn't happened since the update to 10.6.3...

UPDATE: Nope, still happening.
