I had a PS3 for a while, but really have no time for it. I'd prefer just simple games. I was wondering if people had recommendations for simple PC games to play - I saw the new World of Goo - that looks good. Maybe even something like Dwarf Fortress.

On a side note, I have a Gefen HDMate for hooking up the PS3 to the ACD left over if anyone's interested.

I was about to barge in to this thread screaming at the top of my lungs that you shouldn't switch to computer games. But, since you'll only be in to simpler games, I don't see why you couldn't.

Recommendations... World of Goo I heard is good. I expect Battlefield Heroes to be a fun, simple game. Tetris, Asteroids, Centipede, Solitaire, Minesweeper, Missile Command, Pong, Pac-Man, and the rest of the arcade classics are all great ones. You just can't beat the simplicity and enjoyment found in them.

if you can find a way to play them (scummVM etc.) i'm a big fan of the old school Lucas Arts point and click adventure games, Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island, Sam and Max, Full Throttle, ETC. Most of these games can be bought on eBay/Amazon for cheap and are a great time.

Use Boxer to run those games. I was just playing Fate of Atlantis with no problems.
