I wanted to know what CDs come with the iBook when you purchase it. I now know that an OS 9 CD does not come with it, but if anyone has tried/knows can you call Apple, and ask for one since they are doing the 9.2 fufillment program they would still have them right? Thanks in advance!

make your own. look on the install CD for an invisible disc image named "mac os 9 general" or something along those lines. burn that image as a mac volume (bootable volume) to a CD and you have an OS 9 install disc.

Does anyone know what CD the OS 9 image is on, and how to do this because I would really like too, and it really needed. Thanks for any info you provide.

you can find the OS 9 disk image on the first software restore disc. it's in the invisible .images folder.
