Don't worry folks - it's only a plot by the commies to stop you from wanting prezzies and subsequently sinking into a capitalist mindset.
Of course he's real.

Well, a few years after my sister was born, my parents yelled:
"Get down here and help us wrap your sister's presents!"
A pause...a laugh...and "Oh, and Santa's not real. Bring some tape."

What a dumb thread. If he wasn't real, who'd be driving the sleigh? Some dude in a UPS uniform? Jeebus.

I figured it out when I was five, and set about telling all my friends and everyone at school about it. Yes, I was the little bastard that spoiled it for everybody else. HA!

I hid one Christmas Eve and saw my parents placing the gifts under the tree. I had my suspicions, but they confirmed them. I was 5-6 years old.
Parents that don't "permit" their children to believe in santa are foolish.

I found out at 4 by catching my folks placing presents. My sister was 6 and my brother was 8. I think we all found out the same year.
Unlike SOME people -- I didn't spoil it for the other kids in my preschool.

What do you mean it was made up? I thought it was funny, but speaking hebrew makes it a bit easier to understand.

Remember here, I'm 10 years old.
I always was in the middle, saying "well, maybe he exists." But now that I see you guys, he's not. Since I was 8 or 9 or so I suspected that, and now I have "evidence" (if you can call some weirdos (I'm a weirdo too) on a form talking "evidence".)

Parental dilemma that. How do you tell your kids that you have been lying about santa without them distrusting you for the rest of your lives. Here's what I think is a good solution:
Kid: Dad, is Santa for real?
Dad: Well son, what do you think?
Making them figuring it out for themselves will give them an additional bonus of self-confidence in solving such a great mystery.

My grandmother told me when I was 6 so she could start giving money instead of tracking down the gifts.
But alas, I know a lot of people who would rather get the gory for themselves than to let some jolly weight-challenged old bearded man get their children's love.
I don't like the rich and their thoughts of love=money.
I want less corruption in the world or more chances to join in it.

Santa is too real. Maybe the guy in the sled covering the entire world in one night isn't, but the spirit of Santa is real.

I was making a weak joke -- the beginning of the movie has "Santa" murdered.

As a matter of fact I've been a parent. Why do you care anyway? Do you have a different idea about telling your kids about santa that's radically different? Then please do share.

Your family was asian? What are they now?
If they had lived in a house, would your beliefs have been different?

Age 5 or so. About the same time that I decided that the Bible couldn't be all that great, because it didn't mention dinosaurs.

No you see, the dinosaur fossils were put there by devil-possesed atheist trying to confuse you. It's a test to see if you truly believe you see
