Hello,

Well, I assumed and I think I got burned. I'm getting married and my fiance uses a different cell phone provider. So I'm going to go over to her. I wanted to get a PDA/phone. A co-worker who is into Mac's has a Samsung SPH-i300. BUT I never asked if he synced it with his Mac.

I got the phone last night and couldn't sync it for the life of me. I've been reading as much on all the websites and can't find a solution. When I talked with the co-worker this morning and asked him he hadn't tried to sync it with his mac. DUP!!!

The kicker is that I bought it off of E-bay and I doubt I'll be able to return it. Luckily it didn't run me too much.

I may have to settle for still having a palm and cell phone separate. It would be nice to consolidate down so I don't have a utility belt like Batman!

Has anyone been able to rig a i300 with their Mac?

Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I was able to get my I-300 to work with my Mac but it has been a while since I had the 300.
I had to use a Serial-USB converter and the Palm desktop for the Mac. I remember it was a little tricky as I think I had no good way to tell if it had synced or not.
I messed around with it a lot an then it just started working.

I have an I-330 now and have not been able to get it to work.
I just sync with a PC laptop.
It sucks.

I *think* my brother was able to sync his i300 to his ibook a while ago. He had to buy the missing sync to use it. markspace.com. I looked at their compatibility list and it only had the i500 as compatible but I know he had the i300 before so....

edit: he had the i330. Sorry. They look about the same to me, so maybe it'll work...
