How the windows did he do this?
I mean the pronoun<whatever> of the time...
Is that included in this app?

It looks pretty clean, but I've seen other apps do this as well.
Yep, Fuzzy Clock. Thanks. Beat me to it. I've also seen some hacks around to colorize various menu bar items such as AirPort and Bluetooth.

Option grab-and-drag
Hmm, that doesn't seem to work. If you meant use Command grab-and-drag, you can only do that with MenuItems, not MenuStatus. Apple has never provided an API for MenuItem, and although there are hacks out there for developers to use it, few do. Apps like Synergy, Meteorologist and Fuzzy Clock cannot be moved like MenuItems.
If you did in fact mean Option grab-and-grab, that did not work for me. Have you actually done this with this app successfully? I am really interested to see how he did it. My guess is he just quit the rest of his menu extras and then restarted them after Fuzzy Clock was loaded.
Anyone have an idea?

Perhaps you can change the order of launching in System Preferences > Accounts.
Just a guess though...
