Hey Guys, i'm about to take the plunge and buy an iPhone tomorrow. However, with MacWorld coming up and a possible update/new model iPhone, I was wondering if I could return it with the 30 day return policy that AT&T has to get the updated version?

I don't see why not. ATT, like any other cell phone service company, has a 30 day trial period. Return phone and cancel service within 30 days, no cancellation fee.

I just upgrade from the iPhone to the iPhone 3G yesterday.

I believe you will pay for a restocking fee for returning the iphone.

Personally, I'd not worry about what the future may or may not bring. Keep the iPhone and enjoy it.

Yeah, don't get caught in the waiting for the upgrade syndrome, otherwise you'll never have anything these days.

With Macworld less than a week away, it certainly doesn't hurt to wait a week to see what's up with the iPhone, Although a change would most likely be minimal, like an increase in memory size in the phones.

I would wait, it's been 190+ days and it seems a 32gb iPhone should be right around the corner. All the rumors about a cheaper iPhone indicates the 8gb will be dropped down to $99 (like what they did with the $999 MacBook), the 16gb will be $199 and the new 32gb will be $299.

Just my 2 cents, but I'd wait through February. 2nd Tuesday in February - to be exact.
